Iraqi Fighters 1953-2003: Camouflage & Markings
Par Tom Cooper.

La présentation par l'auteur sur le forum de l'ACIG:
I'm very proud and happy to be in position to announce that the book "Iraqi Fighters, 1953-2003: Camouflage & Markings" is now in print and will be ready for deliveries from mid-June.

Here some basic details:

ISBN: 978-0-615-21414-6
Dimensions: 28x20cm, 156 pages, softcover, 96 colour- and 44 b&w photos, 66 colour artworks

"Iraqi Fighters" provides a detailed service history of 13 fighter jet types, from Vampires and Venoms to Hunters, from MiG-17s to MiG-29s, and from Su-7s to Su-24s and Su-25s, in service with Royal Iraqi Air Force and Iraqi Air Force in the period between 1953 and 2003. It details the numbers of delivered aircraft, units that flew them, their combat depoloyments, their camouflage and markings.

Each chapter includes a list of all the serials (or at least all the known serials), plus detailled description of equipment, avionics and weapons provided with them (for example, we've got even the official list of all the IrAF fighter jets flown to Iran, back in 1991, serial by serial). Where available, unit insignia and various special markings are provided as well.

As such, this book provides an insight into the history of the Iraqi Air Force like it was never available before about any Arab air force.

Published by Harpia Publishing, the book can be pre-ordered from the following distributors:

- Linden Hill Imports (USA & Canada only), for example via contact@lindenhillimports.com or

- Skyhawk International (rest of the World), via iraqifighters@harpia-publishing.com
