New Mission Pack, Mod and Skins @Lockonfiles this September

Here is an update of where we stand



LockOnFiles will release late September Mission Packs , Mods and Skin Packs for the Fulcrum, Flanker and Su-25T : Crimean Air Wars - it is a joint effort from several that collaborate with LockOnFiles






These are Aggressor Squadrons, USAF Fighter Weapons School at Nellis AFB , not regular USAF sqns, if someone would use Russian birds, they would.

and the mod itself, this is the one that you will need to install to enable both single and multi player missions

there will be now 62 SP and 62 MP versions of the SP missions, for up to 3 players.

We are also working on a Luftwaffe Mod + Skin pack



and


it will be around 120MB big, and if we can, we will upload it also at C6.

The new main menu is "compatible" with the resolution (1280*1024)???

I think the lock on interface automatically downsizes to 1024/768 unless you tweak the graphics.cfg file! But doing so will introduce some bugs in buttons and sliders. (Obviously, this interface was created to be displayed only in 1024*768).
The screen resolution you choose in the options, subsection video, only applies to the simulation itself, ie when you load a flight.
You can see, by studying the first lines of code in the graphics.cfg file that the two screen resolutions are not linked.

You can use the new screens in any resolution Lock On supports, they are in .DDS format, the Mod now works as an add-on, which means exactly that, it adds to and can be installed and un-installed in a way that is harmless.

The only thing which will be needed is that in Multi-Player everyone has the same mod installed to fly the Crimean Air War missions , other than that, it is LO 1.12a.
