From the RER Station, you will have something like 10 minuts walking to the gates of the Museum, and then, 5 more minuts to get into the hangars... not a so big deal under a july parisian sky... either 33°C and a nice sun, or 13°C and a non stopping rain... your call

Whilst we're talking ways of getting there, what's the best (easiest) way from the centre of Paris? Any ideas what a Taxi might cost roughly?

The costless one is probably to take that same railway (RER B) from Paris to Le Bourget. This line is also underground in Paris like the subway or tube. Sorry no idea for the cost of the taxi, maybe something like 40 € but really depend of eventual traffic jam...

costless way to go there is definitly RER B line.

Oh, I didn't know the Thalys arrives at CDG ...

Ok, from Paris, you will have an RER B (suburb train), 15 minutes trip from Paris Gare du nord to Le Bourget, then a bus (don't know the line but we can find out later) to Le bourget Airport/museum, very close from the RER station (like 5-10 minutes by bus).

Dimebug adress is the best one http://www.transilien.com/FR/, go to the main page and type :
- départ : Paris gare du nord
- Arrivée : Le bourget
You will have your flightpath !

Taxi is also a good solution if you are around 3 people with luggages (with plenty of goodies, I hope )

I would imagine that you'll get a chance to try out the different mods at the show, as there must be modded Cougars there at the LAN. I'd love to bring a selection for anyone to try but I don't fancy explaining the contents of my hand luggage to customs. I remember when Guillaume and I took the first protoptype over to Montreal from France, and the interest it generated at Customs!
