#7Hi Max
To play Microsoft Flight Simulator you need a valid Microsoft Account and a valid license to take advantage of most of the services that Xbox provides – purchasing content, connecting with friends, using online functionality, authenticating your marketplace purchases, using cloud saves, and more.
Your license & marketplace entitlements are linked to the email address and gamertag used to make the purchase. Your marketplace purchases are unlocked in-game upon successful authentication.
I — CHECK THE CONTENT MANAGER
First, please ensure that the additional content is not simply available and ready for download in the content manager.
Launch Microsoft Flight Simulator,
Go to Profile > Content Manager
Select RENO AIR RACES: EXPANSION PACK
Delete RENO AIR RACES: EXPANSION PACK
Go to Uninstalled
Select RENO AIR RACES: EXPANSION PACK to install and click on "Download selected"

II — CHECKLIST
If the Standard Edition is installed but the Upgrades are missing or "disappeared", it means that:
You're not logged in to Microsoft Flight Simulator with the email address and gamertag used to make the purchase.
OR
You are not connected to the authentication servers.
If you're using WiFi, switch to an LTE or wired connection instead. This will help ensure that you are on a stable internet connection to reach out the authentication servers.
Then to ensure no essential application updates are waiting to install and that the connection to the Xbox authentication servers is fully restarted, please do the following:
STEP 1 — INSTALL PENDING UPDATES
Click on Start (the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of your screen)
Select Settings
Go to Update & Security
Stay on Windows Update
Click the Check for Updates button.
Wait until the verification is finished.
STEP 2 — INSTALL GAMING SERVICES UPDATES
Click the Store icon pinned to your menu bar or type “Store” in the “Type here to search bar” next to the Start icon then select “Open”
In the top right corner of the Microsoft Store app—next to your profile icon—click on the Arrow icon or the three-dots menu.
In the drop-down menu, select Downloads and updates.
Click Get updates then Update all and wait for the updates to install.
STEP 3 — SYNCHRONIZE TIME SETTINGS
Go back to Start, then select Settings > Time & Language.
Select Date & Time and toggle the “Set time automatically setting" and “Set time zone automatically” to ON.
Click on Synchronize your clock to synchronize your system's clock with an Internet time server.
Then click Region, double-check that your country or region is correctly set up (for example if you live in Canada, make sure that the region isn’t automatically set to the USA or vice-versa)
STEP 4 — LOG OUT OF THE GAME
Launch Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Click on your icon & gamertag in the top right-hand side corner of the screen.
Click on Sign out.
Close Microsoft Flight Simulator.
STEP 5 — LOG OUT OF STEAM
Click on your Steam username in the top right corner of the screen.
Click on Log out of account: "your username".
STEP 5 — REBOOT THE COMPUTER
Do not skip this step, as it is to ensure all changes are correctly applied.
STEP 6 — SIGN IN TO STEAM
Open Steam
Click on Sign in.
Sign in with the Steam account used to purchase Microsoft Flight Simulator

Launch Microsoft Flight Simulator
Log in with the gamertag linked to Microsoft Flight Simulator
STEP 8 — RESTART ONLINE FUNCTIONALITY
Go to Options > General > Data
Toggle Online Functionality OFF
Click on Apply & Save
Toggle Online Functionality ON
Click on Apply & Save
III — REINSTALL GAMING SERVICES
Finally, if the content doesn't appear in-game despite being connected to the authentication servers, it's possible Gaming Services is corrupted.
To fix this issue, you'll need to delete the Gaming Services registry keys and reinstall the Gaming Services app.
NOTE: Before doing the following, we advise you to back up your registry. For detailed instructions, see: How to back up and restore the registry in Windows
Right-click the Start button in the lower-left corner of the main screen, and then select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:

Remove-Item -Path "HKLM:\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServicesNet" -recurse
Restart your device.

In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:
start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
Install the app on that page, and then select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
Try to install or launch the game again.
Additionally, you may need to reset the Microsoft Store app:
