Hello, everyone.
We at Foxtrot Oscar Simulation Designs feel like today is a very special day, because today, we are announcing our current project for DCS World. We would like to state that the following renders and screenshots are a work in progress, and do not represent the final product since things will change during our development.
We have spent the last few weeks discussing and developing our first aircraft for DCS World: the Hawker Hunter. Currently, our main focus are the single seat variants, more specifically the Mk.58. However, we do have plans for the twin seat varients in the near future.
As of right now, our ESM coder is working hard on coding each and every system for the Hunter, while our 3D artist works on the 3D models and animations. We would like to thank David Garwood for providing his model of the Hawker Hunter for us to use. Our mod will be available free of charge, however, we have currently no set release date.
This simulation of this aircraft will be modelled, to the best of our ability, around the real aircraft. With the help of flight manuals, pilot notes, and former Hawker Hunter pilots, we aim to make this simulation as real as possible.
We hope to share more information with you in the near future on this project.
