As many of you may appreciate, the situation in which I find myself is very awkward indeed. During the development of UltraMFCD, I have always maintained an acute awareness that Eagle Dynamics might refuse to communicate with me, or take overt measures to block what UltraMFCD does.

The latest incident proves, unambiguously, that ED isn't comfortable with its position in the wider world.

I've never known an organisation to delete all evidence of criticism in its direction. I've never known an organisation to pretend that "deleting the things we don't like" is a pretence for realistic cooperation. I've never known an organisation refuse and ignore free money.

Perhaps they already have too many $$$?

Being a one-screen player, I haven't followed the UMFCD story, and am rather surprised at the last developpments. (coming "after the battle" doesn't help I must say).
Anyway, I'm not sure you were able to read what SiThSpAwN wrote at the end of the UMFCD topic at ED. Here is the significant part:

1- The director of ED has not had time to review the proposal but in no way does this indicates that eagle is actively against his [your] work. Rather he should just ask for an update, which is what I directed him to do, not more than a couple days ago.

2- He [You] certainly did not have his posting privileges suspended because he wanted to modify a file or change some colours. That is nonsense, he was suspended for [...] violation of stated forum rules.

So I understand that there is no (acknowledged) problem regarding your program. Rather a mishap of forum life. I hope you'll be able to clear things out, as UMFCD looks like a great app!

I am obviously able to read everything that goes on over at ED's forum (it's not exactly difficult, as an IT expert - and they've not made it difficult).

The unfortunate fact is that Sithspawn isn't Eagle Dynamics. I've witnessed precisely this type of interaction previously, whereby a militant forum-manager embarrasses a larger organisation.
