One setting that makes a big difference to the appearence of RoF is the saturation parameter in startup.cfg. It was originally set to 1.0000 and later changed to 0.7500. I actually prefer the bright colours of the original setting and so use 1.0000 and think that 0.7500 is too washed-out.
The saturation makes a very big difference to the game's appearence, but I suspect that many people do not realise that this important graphics parameter can be set in the startup.cfg file.
Why not make it a slider in the launcher?
I mention this because on the CloD forums a couple of people have posted that they find RoF's colours to be too washed out. They were happier when I showed them how to set it back to = 1.0000.
