Un A-340 en Antarctique

One of wet-lease operator Hi Fly’s Airbus A340’s made history earlier this month when it touched down in Antarctica becoming the first example of the type to venture to the continent.
The A340-313HGW, 9H-SOL (c/n 483) flew from Cape Town in South Africa to the White Continent and back on November 2.
https://www.key.aero/article/how-hi-fly ... antarcticaThe journey – which is 2,500 nautical miles – involved flying for just over five hours each way. The widebody is expected to fly a small number of tourists, alongside scientists and essential cargo to the White Continent this season.
