--> This may be old stuff for a lot of you guys but I just found it out (through reading a s**t load of posts), so here goes: I have never been really crazy about my framerates in AF, in sp4.2 I get 70 + but the best I could manage in AF was 9 to 38, yes 9 note:this was using hi tiles, Dr. Stop's pit and 1600 w/32 bit res. also I had my game set at ultra textures and no canopy reflections and default sliders. So I went about reading everything I could find about increasing FPS in F4AF what I came up with was a multifaceted approach .
For my reference mission I used the Instant action fighter sweep and used forward pit views for reference my low FPS was 1 view down from the default 2d forward view my high FPS was 90 degrees up 2 d pit view (clear sky no pit).
-1.I turned my resolution down to 1600 w/16 bit res. this gave me about 20 fps on the low end
-2. set textures to normal picked up 3 to 7 FPS
-3. started using PC latency tool 2 and set my video latency at 64 I picked up about another 10 FPS
-4. Installed this http://www.ngohq.com/home.php?page=Latest Optimized ngo Video driver Picked up a few more FPS
-5. Installed FSAutostart http://www.kensalter.com/fsautostart/ this gave approx 10 more FPS
The result of these endeavors were a pretty decent FPS increase I now have a range of 27 to 200 FPS I haven't tried it in a game yet but I'm gonna hit Multivipers server pretty hard tonight. When I was going through this I talked a lot to DR. Stop and Scott said one of the things I should I should try is making sure that my video adapter was selected in the game but my only choice is Primary Video Adapter Should I be able to See my Video Card??. If any of you guys can add to this I think it would be good for the community
j'espère que les liens marche aussi ...
