Hi All,

Some people are reporting that they are having problems uninstalling Allied Force during the patching process or whatever. There is a microsoft utility around which does a great job of helping things, if Add / Remove programs does not work.

Go to this page http://support.microsoft.com/default.as ... -us;290301

A third of the way down is the download link to grab the Installer Cleanup Utility package.

Once you have downloaded the file, double click it and select "Run". This will install the package.

Go to C:\Program Files\Windows Installer Clean Up and double click "msicuu.exe"

In the list of programs that appear in the new window, choose (All Users) Falcon 4.0: Allied Force .... and at the bottom hit "remove".

This should allow you to reinstall AF correctly.

juste 2 questions:
1- dans les previsions est il prévu d’implanter le stabilise pendant le ravitaillement
2 - penses tu qu'on verra un mode IFF , permettant une immersion énorme en air air

VFR questions are:
1- Is it scheduled to implement the 'stabilize' function for refueling ?
2- Will IFF be active one day ? This would be a great step into immersion !

C3PO, In F4OLD we had a magnetic refuelling ... (sorry, i don't know the english word for "perche"). This magnet have 50x the power to carry an F-16 but he disappears in Allied Force, or the power has been decreased. I think it's good (and more easy for newbies) to have an easy refuelling. In reality, in flight refuelling is very easy as simulator.

We're heavily revising refuelling, hopefully for 1.06 - in fact it's being completely re-written. It will work much better.

But, what about the kerosene consumption of the viper, will it be revised ? currently, it behaves like a real camel and we don't really need air refueling, even for deep strike or long flight !
It is just a question, if the answer is "not at all", we will always find a way to do air refueling

Pas d'accord Furycane
On est nombreux à avoir réclamé une amélioration du refueling qui pose un problème majeur quand on se retrouve à ravitailler avec 5 à 10 avions, car en realistic on y passe 1/2 heure à 1h; ça oblige soit à faire l'impasse sur des vols longs, soit à régler sur simplified.
Maintenant qu'on nous annonce que le problème est en cours de solution avec une amélioration du refueling, je trouve dommage que tu viennes dire qu'en fait ce n'était pas important, et que tu sortes le problème de la consommation qui ne semble pas avoir fait partie des principales revendications des utilisateurs.
Cette attitude n'est pas de nature à crédibiliser nos demandes d'amélioration auprès de Lead Pursuit !

Je crois qu'il demande simplement si en plus du ravitaillement la conso du F16 va etre revu de facon a justement rendre le refueling indispensable pour les vols long...
Je ne vrois pas qu'il ai, a qq endroits que ce soit, dit que cette amélioration n'était pas importante, au contraire...

Je pense que tu as déjà appris en anglais comment on faisait le comparatif et le superlatif pour les adjectifs...

perso..je ne pense pas être le seul à pouvoir ravitailler régulièrement sous -AF !

même sans un gros aimant ça marche quand même

et il reste toujours aussi la possibilité de se mettre le Ravito un poil + easy !!! dans le setup ...et ça le fera encore plus façon TRES gros aimant....

D'accord Cougar, il doit s'agir de ma part d'une mauvaise interprétation du post de Furycane en anglais.
