1.0.5 Update

A little update for you guys on the status of 1.0.5. We've been using our autosim suite which runs the simulation in various modes: 21 hours ago a session was started and it's still going strong with 1.0.5. No memory leakages or stability issues. This suite tests the code in acceleration mode also, so it's the equivalent of a week's continuous play in some circumstances. That's not to say that any patch can be without its issues in terms of stability, but clearly you get the idea of improvements here. We believe too we have fixed the volume issue and several of the most troublesome issues. Force Feedback has also made a welcome return after going AWOL.
Human testing continues hard too and we're making good progress. 1.0.5 will be a "full-sized" package (24MB). This allows anyone with any LP patched (or even vanilla) version of Allied Force to get all the updates we have released in one package. "When it's done" is the release timeframe. The team continues to work extremely hard and we hope you'll be enjoying the fruits of our labor in the not too distant future.

quelques infos sup de C3PO sur le patch 1.05 en prévision...
--> 1.0.5 has very little in terms of new features. A more comprehensive update will be in the shape of 1.0.6. Really 1.0.5 is for those who are experiencing problems with 1.0.4. Also, 1.0.5 will be the same size as 1.0.4 because it allows everyone who may not have obtained 1.0.4 to have the very latest, cumulative patch for whatever install they might have.
In short, 1.0.5 works as follows:
CD AF --) 1.0.5
AF 1.0.3 --) 1.0.5
AF 1.0.4 --) 1.0.5

hi C3PO,
some people have some problems with their nvidia cards ( 6800 gt). When we put antialiasing filter, a part of the cockpit is not clickable but when we don't put antialiasing its ok. Do you already know this bug and are you trying to correct this.
thanks you very much for your support and your work !!!

First of all ... your English is great
Yes, there is an issue with nVidia cards and AF and FSAA ... we have mailed the issue to nVidia and hope that something might appear in a future driver. Here's hoping though ...

Voila, WAIT & SEE

Hello C3PO
During a mission Force and Force, we order repairing the touched runways by Engeneers battalions. After repair, in the Status, the runways are are 100% repairs and operationnals. So if we do a Recon, the holes on the runways appears still on the runways, and we cannot use them for a take off, or a land without destroying our plane.
Is it a Bug ?
Is there a definit time for repairing these runways? and if it is that could you send us this times.
And also the time which planes are not usable after a flight.
Is it possible to insert ships, and to make them moving?
Also is it possible to place squadrons on a aircraft- carrier? and create flight from tthem?
Is it possible to print Victory Conditions, and how many can we create?
Thanks to you to answer and congratulations for this version. Its a real pleasure to fly at many players whithout being disconneted that we have with the precedent version.
Mery Christmas to you, hopping you can read this mail, sorry my english is not good as i would like..
Thank

Yes, for some reason, in some instances, damage is not being transmitted to all clients in MP.
You can't launch aircraft from an aircraft carrier because F-16s don't operate from them
Thanks for your kind words ... we press on with further improving AF for you guys
