I don't know that we can support two sims simultaniosly after the release of BoB. BoB is a new level of details and quality.... So we prefer to continue with new one and increase the features and amount there, but not in our old sim.
Also as a sample just look how long time take the implementation of user made things....
We try to form some team that could do somethings with the Il-2 series and engine...
Say there is a team now that plan to make new sim.... probably compatible with the Il-2 but with other era of the planes... Another team also plan to make the sim which wil cover also other era...
And third team would make the maps... by agreement with us - these maps should not be the same as we are doing for the next our own series.
So probably the life if this Il-2 series will be at least two years more. Of course we will help these teams in some questions.

Ils essaient de former des équipes qui feront des addons compatibles avec fb :
Pour une période ou un front (era ou area ?) différente : 2 équipes.
Une troisième équipe ferait les cartes ...

Vu le moteur et ses possibilités, on peut penser à la WW1 et peut être la Corée ?
Ce serait sympa en tous cas
AH, un spad sur les Flandres....ENFIN....., un mig 15 sur le Yalu...
Oleg serait il aiguilloné par la communauté CFS3 ?......

Ouep, manque la Corée effectivement, une espèce de SFP1 détaillé, avec les qualité de IL2, les skins etc....
Jouable, surtout avec les "nouveaux" avions prévu dans le futur patch....
IL-10, on imagine un F4U-5, un F-51, un F-80, et bien d'autre, ainsi on ne marchera pas sur les traces de Bob, mais bon rêvons, pis j'ai des skins à faire moi!
Euh, pour la biblio?

It will be incompatible versions. Untill the time when these * planes (maps and objects) will be released for the western language versions that to make all versions compatible.
Biut it may happens not too soon. 1C should sell enough that to cover the expences for these things created.
Aucune certitude donc d'avoir les avions russes et encore moins les autres.
Pour le patch 4.00,Déjà, on avait déjà raconté sur ce forum qu'il y'aurait tel et tel avion et on a seulement eut les avions promis sur la boite.
