Another source I have says that Lacroix cartridges have 3 flares or chaff packets per cartridge, so you can have up to 42 flares if
you go for a flares only setup for the parabrake housing dispenser
After 1985, most french aircraft were eqquipped with at least Lacroix cartridge in the parabreak housing.
