ok ... so I sorted my HOTAS setup ... you need to tick the "Launch without any setup override" option ... Not sure why but you do ... The MFDE is still not working for the MFD's - all other extractions work fine, in 4.37 its NOT working, but it IS if you select "launch 4.36" from the 4.37 launch options !!!
Hey,
regarding HOTAS & Alternate Launcher -> you need to assign your controllers, axis & buttons in the Alternate Launcher, then it's able to transfer your settings to Falcon. If you don't set up anything, your in-game changes will be overwritten. To overcome this, you can prohibit AL to modify your in-game controller settings (that's what you did).
I can only recommend to invest some time and set-up your axis, buttons and stuff in AL. Once done, you get XML-Files which you can easily backup and transfer. It doesn't matter anymore if your DeviceSorting gets messed up, applying controller config to multiple versions is very easy (copy xml-files).
cheers
I don't see if you've mentioned, so I'm guessing you're using the Alternate Launcher. If so, I suggest do not use it. I had many issues with Helios & the Alt Launcher. Even though Helios is supposed to be Alt Launcher friendly, I couldn't get it to work after initially running the Alt Launcher. I did a fresh reinstall of 4.37 & did not place an desktop icon, instead opting for "old school" with making a Launcher.exe desktop shortcut. From there try running Falcon as before.
I think Alt Launcher is a great tool for those new to BMS, they sure seem to love it.
However, guys that have very customized key file, like for a pit, that use non standard / available key commands for other things, find it a big pain.
Especially, now that it's enabled by default.
I wish that it was disabled by default and you had to check the box if you wanted to use it.
It seems already many have fallen into this trap.
Not knocking the app, great work, just not for everyone.

Une probable solution temporaire :
Just start with the old Launcher.exe.
Pour cela ... il suffit de rétablir le Launcher classique (plutôt que le nouvel "Alternative Launcher")
... :\Falcon BMS 4.37\Launcher.exe
