from http://forums.frugalsworld.com/vbb/show ... 457&page=5Okay...here's the the long yet short idea on how to do it. Take for instace....the 5.13.and the 6.5's and download them both. Remove all your current ATI drivers to include using programs such as driver cleaner to ensure all your driver files are out of your C:\windows\system32 file(*AND MAKE SURE THE ATI3DUAG.DLL FILE IS REMOVED). Reboot and set the card up as a standard VGA. If windows told you that you could not remove the dll file before, you should be able to manually remove it now. Now, run your 5.13 or whatever 5.xx install you want and let it extract all the files to a selected folder and quit the program without installing. Next, run your 6.xx driver install program and let it extract the files to folder as well. Here's where the important part comes in. Do not continue with the installation process till after you do this step: Go to which ever folder you extract the 5.xx files into and go to the winxp driver folder. Copy the "ati3duag.dll" file and paste it into the mirrored folder for the 6.xx driver you chose. Now go back and allow your 6.xx driver installation to finish. This should incorperate your 5.xx aitduag.dll file in with the 6.xx driver files. After completion, it should ask you to reboot to complete the install. That should take care of everything. I don't think I have forgotten any steps I hope.....You can get just the driver on the ATI site. I don't have a problem with CC, so I download the whole package.
