To get a kick out of something : adorer quelquechose (~prendre son pied)
To cough up : payer (informel)
Brass farthing : un kopeck (vieil anglais)
Long in the tooth : vieux, âgé (humoristique - allusion au castor dont les dents s'allongent avec l'âge)

Est-ce que quelqu'un saurait me donner le titre d'un livre dont le seul souvenir
qui me reste est un avis: Le Grand Cirque mais par un pilote anglais et pendant
la Premiere Guerre ?
Je sais: ca fait pas beaucoup mais connaissant l'erudition de certains ici je tente
cette chance
