En surfant j'ai trouvé ça:

Around 85 ex-RAAF & ex-Arm de Air Mirage IIIO/IIIOD/5EF/IIIBEs were upgraded to ROSE standards, 65 Mirage with the FIAR Grifo M3 radar & SAGEM avionics with 20 Mirage 5EFs are upgraded to ROSE II standards whose only difference is the DART FLIR for specialized strike missions. Unlike previous PAF Mirages, the ROSE examples are truely multi-role & can tout the widest range of munitions, including modern high performance BVR & WVR-AAMs such as the Matra MICA series.


If war were to surface between India & Pakistan, the Mirages would again play the leading role, thanks to their BVR-combat capability (as MICAs have been purchased for use on the ROSE I Mirages)

C'est pas avec des "Grifo" qu'ils auraient du les moderniser, leurs avions, mais avec des RC400 (alias RDY-3) pour avoir une chance de tirer des MICA.

Je pense qu'en 1998 il n'y avait pas de RC-400/RDY-3, le RDY entrait juste en service en France et à Taïwan.

PAF is looking to replace its old Dassault Mirage III/Mirage V aircraft with JF-17. Pakistan has started production of the JF-17 Thunder. The first batch of 50 JF-17 Thunder aircrafts will be equipped with the Chinese and Pakistani avionics and weapons, while the second batch aircraft will be equipped with more advanced radars and missiles. France has offered Pakistan its RDY-3 radar and MBDA MICA missile for the aircraft.

Les seuls Clients du MICA aujourd'hui sont France, Grece, Qatar, Taiwan, EAU et Maroc. Rien de tel au Pak
