bonsoir , je viens de faire la mise a jour Windows 8.1 et j'ai un souci avec FC² . j'ai aussi FC3 , après al MAJ windows 8.1 , plus aucun jeu ne se lançait . j'ai fait la dernière MAJ DCS ,celui ci a été mis a jour et fonctionne a nouveau .
par contre FC² refuse toujours de se relancer . j'ai bien le menu et la sélection des missions/breifings etc , mais dès que je lance un vol , j'ai un message d'erreur :

error code:0xE2003053




des idées ?!!!

J'ai pas eu de soucis avec DCS, pour FC 2 je peux réinstaller pour voir si le problème se présente chez moi.

j'ai mis a jour jour également mes drivers de carte graphique , sans effet .

Bon je me suis avancé trop vite, le disque sur lequel était LO a eu un crash récemment, je l'ai changé mais mon OS à garder les traces de son existence et des logiciels alors disponibles et m'empeche une nouvelle réinstallation sur un autre DD dans le cas de FC 1.1.

EDIT/ j'ai trouvé une solution pour mon soucis.

Installer et tester sur une mission aucun problème.

Est-que tu pe mais HELP...
I have the same error code in win 8.1.
My problem is my Lockon FC2 Muliplayer will not run and I get the same message as above (error 0xE2003053) I can read enough French to see you have found a fix for your problem. Can you explain what you did to fix the error please

actually , I didn't found any solution to fix the problem .
I Checked my display drivers .
after this update DCS FC3 worked . but FC² is still unavalaible . FC2 crashed with the error code:0xE2003053

Thanks for responding.
Last night a did some trouble shooting and when I reinstalled Lock on + FC2 properly the multiplayer did work. But.... when I installed the FC2 patch (1.2.1) the error code came back and I was unable to load FC2 Multiplayer.

Still stuck and I need to get it working as our virtual airshow demonstration team uses FC2. (Virtual Snowbirds)

Please let me know if you get it working or hear of a fix.

it could be a starforce problem , with activation .

This application is protected with protection system version which doesn't support Windows 8.1.
You should contact your product customer support service and ask them to make a patch, which will either update protection system version.
Unfortunately, we can't build such a patch on our side since we neither have legal authority to produce any patches nor original application files required for that.
