In HUD after a successful Handoff, the small rectangle that appears below the Mavderick target circle will only show if the target is in the missile’s range
After a successful Handoff and a reject of the Handoff (TMS-Right on the TGP) will cause the AREA text in the TGP MFD to flash shortly.
